Fort Worth, The Unexpected City
I used to have a blog when I had my store, I absolutely loved writing it, this was before i had kids, and was in my late twenties, early thirties, with nothing but time on my hand. I mostly wrote about topics like art, history, really fun things i used to do, travel, music, whatever inspired me really. I've missed it, and now I finally have some time to start up again! I'm not going to write about crafts, or motherhood, or or kids activities - people are already doing a much better job of that than I could ever do! Instead, i plan on writing about anything that is inspiring me at the moment, or something I may think you and maybe your kiddos might enjoy. Sometimes it may be just a really cool artist that I found and fell in love with, or maybe a little history snippet that I discovered and think is fascinating, really just a place for a quick visual moment, that also has some content and you just might learn something! I miss blogs, I miss learning, I love seeing beautiful images on instagram, but I miss reading, understanding, and actually expanding my mind! So here we go!
Here is a video we found on Fort Worth, where we are based. It was made in 1979 and narrated by Jimmy Stewart, yup! That Jimmy Stewart - random I know, but super cool. And the city has definitely changed since this video was made, but man I wish it had stayed exactly the same. How they talk about the city is exactly where I want to live. Hope you Enjoy!!
